BJP versus AAP

Elections are close and it is not easy choosing a candidate. Though AAP has been in news since the arrival of Arvind Kejriwal, I would still like to see BJP come into power. AAP is a new party and will take some time to understand the problems of our country before finding solutions. The way Kejriwal stepped down from the post of Chief Minister of Delhi was not good for the image of AAP. If one is chosen by people as their leader, that person must fulfil the aspirations of the people. He showed them dreams and without fulfilling them just left. I would say that he just could not deal with the colossal problems of Delhi. Sitting on dharna for each and every issue wastes time as well as causes unnecessary inconvenience to people. I agree one must be vocal and fight for one’s rights but for each and every issue you cannot come on the road.

BJP is different. They have leaders like Arun Jaitley, L.K Advani, Modi and many other stalwarts who have a positive roadmap for India’s progress as well as development. They are grassroot workers. They know the problems of the common man and I am sure will provide some relief from poverty as it is clearly stated in their manifesto. The nexus between the rich and the politicians cannot be broken just by sitting on dharna like Kejriwal. One has to go deep into the links formed and break them slowly and steadily. India’s wealth stored in Swiss banks has to be brought back. The issues like corruption in each and every sphere has to be dealt with. The cream of our country consisting of doctors, scientists, IT professionals going to greener pastures has to be stopped by providing more lucrative opportunities to the youth. The unrest, strikes immolations got to be seen from the angle of the –people resorting to it. The common man is faced with so many problems due to high inflation rates. Though there have been increase in the salaries, the expenditure even on basic necessities is beyond his pocket. The development is lopsided. Some parts of the country like Gurgaon are prospering but if you go to the villages of Orissa, Rajasthan, M.P, the sheer poverty stricken people’s plight just cannot be ignored.

Our relations with Pakistan and China have not improved much due to the weakness of leadership. Our soldiers are being killed every day. Maoists need to be dealt with firmly. A strong message has to go to the people that leaders are there to deal with all the calamities in a mature and a result oriented manner. BJP has got a plethora of such leaders who can take India to its golden heights. The ideology of both the parties is similar in some ways but the implementation of plans into action is different. Our farmers, artisans, skilled workers are a neglected lot. Despite our country having the history of rich civilizations due to small scale industries, the multi-national companies are choking their very existence. BJP has always upheld the rights of the downtrodden and have supported their much deserved cause for attention. I am hoping that BJP comes to power. AAP needs time to settle down. Its leaders have jumped into the fray for Lok Sabha elections without even knowing what politics is all about. On the other hand, BJP leaders are not only well trained, their goals, aspirations are very clear and their vision is for the benefit of the common man.
